Geneva 2009: the official photos of the Spyker C8 Aileron
After the photos from the alive one of the stand of Geneva, here official photos and information with respect to the Spyker C8 Aileron. The Dutch new coupè represents the second generation of the Spyker models, after the several models derived from the C8 originates them, been born in 2000.
This version of series of the Aileron will enter soon in production and the first deliveries are previewed to May 2009, at the price of 189.990 € for the version with manual change and 195,990 € for that with automatic gearshift. To August 2009, in occasion of the competition of elegance of Peeble Beach, the version roadster in preview will be introduced, with roof in burlap electrical worker.
The chassis space frame in aluminum of the C8 Aileron totally is redesigned in order to increase of the rigidity torsionale and to use a new outline for the suspensions. The step has been lengthened of 150mm or in order increasing the space to edge or for being able to mount optional automatic transmission ZF 6 relationships with paddles to flying, bound together to the V8 4,2 400Cv of origin Audios. Thanks to the weight of 1425kg the new C8 Aileron declare 300 km/h of the maximum speed and 4,5 second ones in order to catch up the 100km/h.
